K9 RoSa: Making History in Atlantic Canada.

RoSa K9 has made history as the first working facility dog within an Atlantic Canadian Policing Agency. This remarkable achievement has not only broken down barriers but has also helped to truly expand the vision beyond what was initially imagined with our 'Pilot Puppy'. Gifted to the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force in the beautiful Town of Rothesay, RoSa K9's presence has brought about a new era of support and assistance with First Responders.

RoSa, the Labrador, has truly made a remarkable impact during her time with her Force and Civilian Members. With her comforting presence, companionship, and playful antics, she has brought immeasurable joy to those around her. RoSa is lovingly handled and resides with Cpl. Aaron Haines and Cpl. Lindsay Haines.

One of RoSa's unique characteristics is her love for water. Being a true water nut, she thoroughly enjoys swimming and splashing around. This playful trait adds an extra element of fun to her already endearing personality.

RoSa's role goes beyond being just a furry friend; she provides comfort and support to those who need it most. Her presence brings a sense of calmness in times of stress or uncertainty. Whether it's interacting with Force Members or civilians, RoSa has proven to be an invaluable asset in fostering positive connections and creating a welcoming environment.

The bond between RoSa and her handlers, Cpl. Aaron Haines and Cpl. Lindsay Haines, is evident in the way they work together seamlessly as a team. Their dedication to ensuring RoSa's well-being reflects their commitment not only to their four-legged partner but also to the overall welfare of their community.

RoSa's tenure has left an indelible mark on all those who have had the pleasure of knowing her. Her ability to bring comfort, companionship, and animal antics serves as a testament to the profound impact that animals can have on our lives

RoSa was named in honour of fallen Fredericton Police Force Members, Constable

Robb Costello (Ro) and Constable Sara Burns (Sa) who died in the line of duty August 2018. Canine Therapy for First Responders was formed in their honour.
