Captain K9: Anxiety Task Training.

Updated: Nov 7, 2023

By nature, our bodies have some physical reactions under anxiety that are common amongst many people. Strong examples are leg jumping or twitching, scratching or picking at one’s self, rubbing of the forehead and or temples, or even tapping a pen repeatedly.

The Facility K9 learns “their people” very well at their workplaces, and in time, recognizes each persons individual scents, sounds and physical behaviours.

The Dog will silently do their job by interrupting behaviours they may see in passing.

It’s the hidden part of the ”job” they do; making their way along person to person to ensure their Members are feeling supported in a way only the love of a dog quietly just gives to us. Captain is showing how he will politely interrupt.

Great job team Captain K9!
