K9 Tanker, Gets a visit from Oulton College Paramedic Students.

Thank you to the Oulton College Paramedic students who visited my Riverview Fire and Rescue yesterday. Our 3rd crew shift IAFF Local 2549 Riverview Professional Firefighters & Riverview Volunteer Firefighters Association members are always happy to share their experiences as Firefighters.

K9 Tanker Riverview Fire Department stickers and tons of cuddles were given! Study hard and be safe out there!

Information on Tanker:

K9 Tanker, Riverview Fire - Facility Dog, was donated by Canine Therapy For First Responders to Riverview Fire and Rescue, IAFF Local 2549 Riverview Professional Firefighters Riverview Volunteer Firefighters Association in the beautiful growing Town of Riverview, New Brunswick.

Tanker was born July 22/22 and he is a sweet Golden Doodle donated Lovebug Doodles.

He is in training for Certified Facility Dog (FDit) for their Department and Fire education/prevention team.

His training is led by Master Trainer and Lead Master, Executive Canine Director for CTFFR, Rhonda Langille. He will provide comfort to the Firefighters during times needed in their stressful roles.
