Paisley, SDiT

Zachary, Firefighter/Paramedic

Hello,  My name is Paisley (CamLab's Lovebug) who was born on the 13th of December in beautiful Windsor, Nova Scotia at Camlabs Registered Labradors.  I came home with my Dad at 8 weeks old and began my training.

My Dad is a Level 2 trained Firefighter from Holland College in Prince Edward Island.  He is also a Licensed Primary Care Paramedic in New Brunswick.

Unfortunately in 2022 my Dad was injured while on duty. Luckily for him I am here to provide my assistance in helping him in areas he needs.  I provide my Dad by opening doors, picking up dropped items and deep pressure therapy (DPT) to name a few.

We're only 6 months into our 2 year training program, but with my willingness to learn and my Dads dedication we will have no issues.

SDiT Pax

Canadian Armed Forces, Veteran.

Meet Pax, a golden retriever who embodies peace and love, just like his name suggests. Celebrating his first birthday on Valentine's Day, Pax is a true love bug at heart. As the loyal companion to his dad, a CAF veteran who served two tours as a peacekeeper, Pax plays a vital role in his life.

With his dad battling CPTSD, Pax steps in as more than just a furry friend. He serves as a source of comfort and support, helping to alleviate his dad's symptoms by grounding him in the present moment. Pax's special talent lies in deep pressure therapy (DPT), as he lies on his dad's chest, offering a calming presence during moments of anxiety.

Transitioning to life on the road, Pax seamlessly becomes his dad's co-navigator in the truck. Together, they explore new horizons as his dad continues to Show Up on his journey as a long-haul truck driver. With Pax by his side, they traverse the highways, creating new memories and overcoming challenges together.
